🐦 Rise of the Phoenix - May 2022 Event Checklist 🐦
From the ashes of January, the next phoenix is reborn. To continue May, we have the Phoenix event, which is home to some really good pets. The T8 Phoenix gives earlier access to Deific Channel, a powerful buff normally only available in T10. The T10 variant is great for getting Deific Channel without spending 3 turns to cast, and with a decent amount of pet action increase, can consistently provide you with the buff. 💭 The Plight of Apollyon - May 2022 Event Checklist 💭
During this month, let's go back and fight some memories! Tons of interesting things come with this brand new event. What does all this new stuff mean? We'll be spending this entire month finding out. All the monsters and followers focus heavily on alignment. They're a great pick for setting up endless or getting specific Alignments easily. The Summer Solstice is one of two of these events that happen every year. During this small period of time, the two royals of the rivaling tribes can now be seen - Ljosalfar and Dokkalfar. However, this event is also interesting by the fact that it includes an event BOSS alongside a raid! The King of Ljosalfar is a Tier 5 raid, while the Queen of Dokkalfar is a Tier 8 boss. For codexers, this Queen is arguably one of the more sought-after entries, since she can only be found reliably a handful of days in the year. ☯️ Raids ☯️ ○ T5 - King of Ljosalfar (https://tinyurl.com/ornakingljo) ☯️ Bosses ☯️ ○ T8 - Queen of Dokkalfar (https://tinyurl.com/ornaqueendokk) *As usual, these links lead to images of completed codex entries. 🧙♂️ Merlin - June 2022 Event Checklist 🧙♂️
Merlin has been around since the beginnings of Orna, and this is his sixth time showing himself here, which puts him at the top of the appearances leaderboard. He, as advertised, has drops for every tier beyond 5, so it's advised to at least tap him. However, this seemingly accommodating raid boss used to be a nightmare for codexers. His multi-elemental attacks during his brief appearance in August 2021 had an incredibly low use rate, around 1 in 10000. Lucky for us, today, he is more forgiving. 🧙♂️ Raids 🧙♂️ ○ T6 - Fallen Merlin (https://tinyurl.com/ornafallenmerlin) ○ T9 - Arisen Merlin (https://tinyurl.com/ornaarisenmerlin) These links, like usual, lead to completed codex entries of Merlin. 🐶 Rise of Kerberos - July 2022 Event Checklist 🐶
Kerberos has returned! For an entire week and a half, the players of Orna can reap the rewards of Kerberos' return. With his return, he brings himself, about 6 times - 2 pets, 2 raids, and 2 bosses. The order goes Lotan (T5), Vritra (T6), Agathodaemon (T7), Zaltys (T7), Illuyanka (T8), Bashe (T9), Quetzacoatl (T9), Gorynych (T10), and lastly Ymir (T10).
- These bosses can be encountered naturally in the world (not by Monster Remains!), in normal dungeons (only on boss floors, even in boss mode!), Valley of the Gods (boss floors), and Dragon Roosts. Roosts seem to be the best spot for encountering these guys quickly, but you'll need a few. This isn't a "one dungeon run and we get 'em all", but oftentimes people can get more than one codex entry in one run. Take your time, play slowly. 🏵️Riftfall - September 2022 Event Checklist 🏵️

Duration: 15 September 2022 to 21 September 2022 Build IntroThis is guide is about hard endless as Sequencer on both Deity and Heretic. It requires for you to be lvl 245 for Ultima. With this build I do 100M orns per hour without temple or event, an hour means 5-6 dungeons. You can see a before/after 2 hours of hard endless on Stats and Gear at the end. Heretic or Deity ? Your most ascended lol. Both are good and have different advantages based on their passives, there is no clear winner. Berserks I suggest to use only berserk 1 and 3 because ruby got nerfed (separated proc on each ruby got merged on only 1 proc so there is now only 50% chance to get healed each turn). It's easier to manage 2 zerk instead of 3 because Elementseal heals just enough to manage 2 berserks.
Loadout screenshots and video guide available at the bottom of this guide! Build IntroDeity Swash is a mix of the huge tankiness of Deity and the massive attack stats buff of Swashbuckler. It is easier and tankier than realm swash. Probably the fastest way to raid with Deity. How does Swash work: Basically the lower your def is, the higher your attack will be, but you don't need to be at 0 defense. On Deity for maximum swash passive (+50% attack) you need between 960 def and 1060 def based on your level. Ascension doesn't change that cap because it is based on class base stats. In combat, debuffs such as Bear's Might and Snotra doesn't affect your defense for swash passive. Loadout screenshots and video guide available at the bottom of this guide! Build IntroBaalinor - 2022-08-17 One of the best (fast and safe) ways to raid as Gilgamesh is focusing mainly on Ward and secondly on Attack, to use the Spiked Shield 3 skill (SS3). It's a skill unlocked at level 240 and the mechanics behind it changed not too long ago: this is important to say because if you see guides/videos before Orna 3.0 they are now obsolete. To raid with SS3 you need a lot of ward and a good amount of attack, so the following build focuses on this. Side note: two big questions that normally come as Gilgas: "how much ward do I need to be able to deal decent damage with Spiked Shield skills?" and "is SS2 still ok for raiding?" I would say 120k+, and not exactly. If you don't have the above mentioned amount of ward or you still didn't unlock SS3, I would suggest you to try two good Gilga alternative builds for raiding: - Warrior's Pavane (Charmer skill) with 4-5 Assassin Jewels in your weapon - Realm Strikes with Crit adornments (Ferocious Eyes) in the weapon. Specialisation can be Raider, Zwei-Fencer, Cataphract They may be covered in different articles. Loadout screenshots and video guide available at the bottom of this guide! Build IntroBaalinor - 2022-08-17 There are different ways to run dungeons with Gilgamesh, following is the one I found the best for me. I'm currently using it for standard normal, hard, boss, hard boss, and also themed dungeons (some of them horde mode, others non-horde). There are actually 4 versions of my build, where Weapon and Offhand change. Speaking of the common elements: Specialisation: I'm currently using Zwei-Fencer because of horde dungeons, it's also good for ward bonus. Alternatives can be: Ranger (HP and attack bonus, Arrowstorm 2 for horde), Cataphract (extra HP and ward regen) Pet: I'm using the Fey Chimera because of Berserk 1 and it also deals decent damage to enemies. Gear: 2x of your best Band of Gods for orns, gold and exp Lost Helmet and Court Jester's Outfit for orns and gold bonuses. Arisen Avalon Leggings because they have both attack and ward. Everything Godforged or as highly levelled as you can to have the max orns/gold bonus possible. Adornments used in the gear are Jewel of Creation and Saturn Eyes, because of HP/Mana, Attack and Ward. You may also try to use some broken or superior Ashen Pinion for ward and 4% crit. They have negative attack btw. Amity that gives you orns bonus or accessory effectiveness. Any good amity that helps you clear your dungeons is fine too. Loadout screenshots and video guide available at the bottom of this guide! Amities - An Introduction - What Are Amities?
Quick note if you're looking for the full list of Amities please scroll to the bottom of this page or click here.
Leading you in this new adventure is the new NPC named Pythia, an Oracle of Elysium, here to help the Lost Souls and Memories come to rest. Pythia informs us that the lands around us are dense with memories of fallen and lost peoples, and that hunting down these memories allows us to restore balance in the land by containing it in artefacts, called “Amities”. She then gives us a consumable item called a Diluted Mnemonic (DM), which can bring an area’s memories to the surface, allowing us the player to hunt these memories down and completing the hunt restores the spiritual balance of the area - which in turn rewards us with an Amity. These Amities can be equipped in a new equipment slot in each loadout, and can have varying interesting effects on your abilities in combat, in short opening up a huge new range of build possibilities for us! Getting Started - How to find your first AmityIntroductionWelcome to the guide on the Unfelled questline! Released in late March 2022, this overrode the old questline (the Aftermath questline). If you played before this, you have to start the Unfelled questline at the very beginning. Finding lower tier monsters and bosses can be a pain, so here’s a neat little guide to help! Most quests will be split into two sections - new and experienced. If you’re a new player, look at the new section. If you’re returning, and something like Tier 9 or Tier 10, look at the experienced section. Use the outline of this document to jump between quests quickly.
If you’d just like a quick list of all quests (SPOILERS!), look at this spreadsheet. Also note, all of these will be spoilers for the questline. Read these line-by-line if you’d like to avoid being spoiled, or, I dunno, don’t read this. Note from Shabbash: Huge thank you to Konq for writing up this legendary questing guide and also for permission to upload to this site. Build IntroHeretic Bard is currently my favourite S-Tier carry build for solo horde and party themed/boss dungeons. The elementless huge damage wrecks stuff. Mages are back with a bang!
First point: This build works just as well as Charmer spec with Mage's Pavane skill instead of Bard and Mage's Dance. The main reasons I prefer using Bard over Charmer are the cheaper spec switching cost, the higher minimum-damage than Pavane leaves less trash mobs on low HP unless you have extremely high magic. You can also play this as Deity with exact same concepts. Mage's Dance does elementless damage to all enemies and unike Arrowstorm, the damage is not divided so you can build up some huge 6-figure numbers against all enemies when you build up some solid gear and have temp-buffs up. Heretic's Life Siphon passive keeps our HP topped up almost constantly, so I like to not even use 100% ward absorption, instead using Ward of Mythril and relying on Life Siphon to increase our effective health and lower ward management requirements. We can of course play safer with higher ward gear - this will be solid options for fresh Heretics at tier 10. Transitioning into higher magic stats with Heretic's Robe and Azure Pinions as armour adornments give a good build transition into higher levels. The Heretic's Robe extra magic stat is actually huge and we have a huge mana pool to cover using Mage's Dance with higher mana costs quite a few times before using Super Elixirs mostly to recover mana. It also gets us into Iconoclast battle passive faster. Video guide linked at the bottom of this guide! Build IntroThe only attack based AoE skills in Orna are currently Arrowstorm (1 and 2) available from Hunter and Ranger specs respectively. The damage from Arrowstorm is actually divided among all enemies on the screen, so if your Arrowstorm was doing 100k damage to one enemy it would do approximately 20k damage to five enemies.
This build focuses on redlining, status immunity and high stats in order to solo horde mode themed dungeons or as a low tier party boss dungeon carry. For themed dungeons I don't believe it's particularly worth going for booster gear (orns/exp gear), as it's better to focus on survivability and completing the dungeons, where typically the rewards are Godforging or item hunting from event bosses. I highly recommend using a decent amount of ward in order to use Gait of Gunnr for more offense. Something like +40k ward is probably necessary to use Gunnr for the harder themed dungeons, as there will always be some magic enemies who can deal heavy damage. If you have less than 35k it's safer to miss out Gunnr, stacking both your Def+Res with redlining and normal buffs to minimise incoming damage. Of course completing these dungeons in a party will always be safer as damage is not always focused on you. Tactics are quite straightforward; buff up immediately with Golem's Fortitude + Barrier 2 + Ward of Ortanite (to tank any first floor hits), bump our ward absorption to 100% with Divine Bastion 2, finish our offensive buffs and increase ward turns with Fortify 3 or Ward of Ortanite. We then clear trash mobs with Arrowstorm 2, and have nuking single hit skills such as Purifying Strikes (I love this skill as it hits all physical immune enemies except Mighty Mimics, gives 1 ward turn and even recovers a small amount of ward) or Swordplay 3.
