Build IntroThis build was born out of a desire to get away from the tedium of heretic endless runs and a realization that dragon align synergizes well with the Questing weapons, as well as the other benefits Dragon Align provides, namely elimination of Nidhogg as a threat. Inspiration was taken from Shabbash’s previous swash endless video. Buffing PhaseBuffing is done as Beo/Raider and it is quick. It can be done while at a wayvessel as well but it will take longer as you will have to regen mana with Guts for Ward of Balor/Annwn casts. We only need the basic four elemental resists as Realmshifter has natural Light/Dark immunity. With Outpost access resistances are gotten through Fey Yeti first and Zerk 1 from Chimera. If Chimera follower is not possible, you can get Zerk 1 through the Zerker spec or Chimera Raid weapons. Buffing Order goes Ward of Ortanite>Golem’s Fort>Barrier II>Divine Bastion> (Ward of Balor>)Mimic’s Mischief>Wyvern Speed II>Wyrm’s Song>Gait of Gunnr>Berserk (I)III A lot of thought went into the gear selections. Since the build relies on Dragon Alignment, it rules out a shield which tanks our ward available. This is why the Axe of Gilgamesh instead of a Crystalis. Briny status immunities (notably Blight and Toxic) cannot be healed with Wisp Heal so that’s why Briny instead of Annwn. Chest gives curse immunity and a decent amount of ward, while boots give Doom immunity. Running PhaseThis goes very fast so be on the lookout for Fallen Freyja and Fallen Beowulf sprites! Gear Weapon: Questing Bow is our weapon of choice for its synergy with Dragon align and the volley skill. The ward is nice too Offhand: Our offhand will be Arisen Hel’s Arrows. Fey arrows are an alternative but you will have to spend more attention to make sure you don’t volley on a Freyja or Beowulf! Amity: I use a 30% dragon damage amity but a better one would be an accessory boosting Amity. %ward regen would be good too, but mana pool might be too small to get much use out of %mana regen. Legs: I use Smelly Shoes but another (better?) alternative would be Broken Arisen Riftrogue boots. Chest/Head/Accessories: Standard booster gear, so Mimic’s Head/Lost Helmet, Court Jester’s Outfit, and Band of Gods/Arisen Tomes. Adornments: I use Jewels of the Deep in my arrows, and Crimson Pinions in all of my armor slots. Ferocious Bull’s Eyes in the Questing Bow are very hard to part without for the mana which is desperately needed to offset pinion use, but seeing as they are an event item and in short supply outside of their month, you might be able to make do with Eyes of the Morrigan in the weapon and supplementing with Ashen Pinions/extra Jewels of the Deep where you can. Experiment! Follower: Ashen Phoenix Combat Our main skill will be Volley 3 for its synergy with hard mode, dragon align and our Questing Weapon. Purifying Strikes on Fallen Beowulf/Fallen Freyja and Nidhogg after recovering mana/ward if needed (You’re immune to Nidhogg’s attacks besides basic Attack, which isn’t performed that often. Nice!) Quadcut/Realmstrikes on higher hp mobs depending on if you need to risk the miss. Use your judgment! Stun Dart on dodgy mobs as needed, common endless cc Sortie if extra crit chance is needed for recharging *There isn’t much that can be done if you are having to run Fey Arrows for second chance mobs (besides maybe X Slash at lower floor counts) but you can minimize early run deaths by taking it slow so you don’t Volley Beowulfs and Freyjas! You don’t have a ward cushion in case you get Immune’d!
