The Orna 3.0 Beta has been released for a couple weeks now during September and on top of the list of changes provided by the dev Odie in main discord, I wanted to provide more visual changes and any small additional things that are new for 3.0. With the live version due to drop any day now, i’ll do my best to keep this article updated with any new changes that make it to the live version and it should be a useful point of reference for players to get a quick grasp of what’s new. Please remember any information below is subject to change so please feel free to contact me if there is wrong/changed information and we’ll get it updated!

Official Change Log 14th Sep 2021
* Revamped battle system and enemy AI * - The gameplay is so much smoother and faster! You end up saving heaps of time on each turn/fight/dungeon etc. much snappier and it feels great.
Themed dungeons randomly take the place of existing dungeon locations and rotate on a weekly basis every Sunday night at midnight UTC. Fuximus (famous Beowulf player) carried out a community incidence report survey, results below, showing approx 50% of dungeons get turned into a themed dungeon every week, with some then being rarer than others.
They contain multiple enemies per floor whether you run them solo or as a party.
Many new mobs and their items are available, some uniquely found in their specific themed dungeon.
Some of these themed dungeons are tier restricted.
Check out my videos showcasing each of the new special themed dungeons:
Valley of the Gods
* Live PvP in the Arena * - Can be done solo or in a party of up to 4. Currently Foresight hasn't been working and turn order is dictated randomly but Odie has confirmed this will be fixed in live. AI is supposed to take over after 2 mins of inactivity. I'm personally really looking forward to this going live and having a wider pool of live PvP battlers available - also stay tuned to the Orna Legends Discord for PvP tournaments in the very near future!
You can still do Arena the old way it's now called "Sparring", where you fight AI.
Check out this vid of me going up live vs Odie on Beta launch day!
* Refreshed menus and user interface * -Will take some time for the muscle memory to get used to the new layout, but after a couple weeks of playing with it I'm liking it.
* Local party play * - You do have to be nearby either physically or in the same wayvessel for example to play with your party. Arena, Coliseums, Dungeons (normal and themed) and World Raid Bosses can all be done with up to 4 party members at the same time.
Only the leader spends keys to enter party dungeons, and each person in the party can actually run the same dungeon as leader. So with 4 party members you can run the same dungeon 4 times with each as leader.
The dungeon is lost if the leader dies.
* PvP opponents now must manage mana * - This goes for live an AI PvP fights - have to watch those no-mana builds now!
* View distance is now visible on the map * - Depicted by a faint thick grey circle around your character location.

Axe/Bow/Staff of the Chimera: 40
