How to get stone in Hero of Aethric

"How to find stone in Hero of Aethric?" is one of the most commonly asked questions from new players entering the world of Aethric for the first time, and its valid because we need the stone to construct buildings in the Origin Town to continue the main questline. However it's no secret that there's a distinct lack of stone material around Aethric in the early game, especially compared to aa material like wood which is much more abundant as there's plenty of items and gear that can be dismantled into wood that's dropped from plenty of monsters in the first few areas of the game.

Here are the three main ways to get more stone in Aethric in the early game:

Farm clickables around the map. These clickables can be in the form of a chest, shrines, wood or stone which can give around 5-10 stone on average. Each clickable you tap respawns as another random clickable somewhere in the same zone. A good place to farm these early on is in the Great Plains, between the North Loton barriers up to around the corner from Vinland. Walking back and forth between these zone boundaries clicking every clickable you see will not only net you a decent amount of stone, but if you're lucky also net you a shrine of wisdom or luck for double experience or orns!

Make sure you tap all the clickables you see, such as trees and chest because they can respawn as stone in the same zone!

A decent early game farming route for clickables in Aethric

Monster drops. There's no gear that dismantles in to stone in the early tiers of the game, but there are a few mobs that can drop stone as a material directly. Here are the monsters in the first 3 tiers up to Lythryn Woods area that can drop stone:

• Earthworm ★2 rain weather spawn
• Rubbish ★2 water spawn
• Buried ★2 night time spawn
• Golem ★3 in Lythryn Woods
• Ogre ★3 in Lythryn Woods
• Great Mimic ★3 in Lythryn Woods (rare)

The monsters in early game who drop stone in Aethric

Shops can sell stone as a material in quantities between 1 - 20. Check the general stores in each main town you've unlocked from Loton onwards. They refresh stock every 1 - 3 days. Building your own shops in your origin town is a good way to find stone, however will begin to cost hundreds of thousands of gold to level them up and build more. Each time you level up a shop the stocm also refreshes so be sure to check each time.

Why do we even need stone? The main reason we need stone in Aethric is to construct buildings in your Origin Town to continue some quests in the main story line, for example:

•  Blacksmith, which requires 250k gold, 25 wood, 25 stone
•  Bestiary, requiring 100k gold, 10 stone, 25 hide
