How to get gauntlet keys in Hero of Aethric

​ How to get gauntlet keys as a new character in Aethric? 
 There are a number of dungeons located around the world of Aethric that require at least 1 Gauntlet Key to enter. Some options like Boss Mode or Hard Mode require more keys, and higher tier dungeons also require more than 1 key. The tier 10 Valley of the Gods dungeon requires 20 keys to enter it normally solo!
 
 In the Aethric main story questline at tier 3 Seeker Mara asks you to complete a gauntlet (gauntlet = dungeon in terminology). Dungeons are essentially a series of monster or boss fights back to back for a set number of floors, depending on your tier. Each mob starts fresh at 100% HP on each floor, whereas your HP and mana levels do not get refreshed, you'll need to consider bringing a few large health potions here! It's common to fail your first few dungeons in the beginning, as players normally don't have decent gear to withstand the constant barrage of damage from a series of monsters, so farming more gauntlet keys is always worth it!

​Gauntlet Keys are regularly dropped from certain bosses out in the world, and from a few bosses who only appear inside dungeons (but we need the key first!). Farming bosses for dungeon keys is the most common way to increase your stack of dungeon keys in Aethric. The list below shows the first few bosses available to kill in the game that drop dungeon keys, starting with the Demon Knight in ★3 in Lythryn, up to Carman at ★6 in Jotunheim.

 ★4 Carman's Gargoyle - Odin's Finger and Suddun Desert
 ★5 Griffin, Deathworm - Suddun Dunes and Meropis
 ★6 Carman - Jotunheim
 

​It is also possible to receive gauntlet keys as daily login rewards, and you can receive quite a few at once, more than 10 on occasion.
 
 Another way to get more gauntlet keys is to buy them in the Runeshop for IRL money, the item chests tend to include some gauntlet keys along with other useful items like Galar Hammers and Diluted Mnemonics. However, farming bosses for keys is still the best way and you shouldn't need to ever buy more keys with cash. On my first Aethric character I had accumulated over 1200 gauntlet keys by the time I reached tier 10! And there are more bosses at higher tiers that drop gauntlet keys so bear that in mind, keys will likely be more plentiful for you later on.
 
The final way to receive more gauntlet keys is from raids. All kingdom raids starting with Starlord at tier 5 and above can drop you gauntlet keys, as long as you do at least some damage to them. I recommend joining a kingdom that matches your general activity level and hitting all the raids for at least 1 hitpoint of dmg if you can, that gets you a chance to loot a gauntlet key when the raid is killed. The more dmg you do to a raid boss as a percentage of its total HP, the higher the chances you will receive a gauntlet key, and even multiple keys as well as more loot overall.
